It never rains but it pours...
Went to my parent's house today in my wife's 2004 City-Coupe Pulse mk7 (having to buy temporary insurance as well... mutter mutter) and found that my brother's 2004 54 plate Fortwo Caribolet would not start.
It has been awkward in the past with this (I have given it a jump start before) but we think the battery has given up. So I had to go in and change the battery with dying sunlight and the temperature at around 2C.
Not fun. :( Still did it and all seems to be working well but now one of the headlamps have gone. Add to that one of the speedometer lights have gone in my wife's car and it adds up to be a looooonnnggg day.
Seeya all on the net!

Re: It never rains but it pours...
Another day, another fix.
My brothers car came in for a B service today. The oil change was actually the easiest bit but the spark plugs were a nightmare. In the end, I had to move the crash bar to get the lower spark plus done and then the HT lead on the top right plug refused to go back on. Add onto this the wind and the sleet and it was a long day!
However, a little over 4 hours later, it was done and it even had a new CD Radio installed! We found the steering to be really tricky and found the tyres to be underinflated badly. Fixed that and now it steers much better. Hope it runs better as well. :)
